What this means is that this card- designed with a wider slot cover for the 5150- will not fit correctly into an IBM XT 5160. The ISA slots were further spaced apart than what would later become the standard spacing, as evidenced in IBM's later release of its"XT 5160" desktop system, wherein its motherboard had 8 8-bit ISA slots. One of which was this floppy controller card. The 5150's motherboard had only 5 8-bit ISA slots for add-in cards. The 5150 was IBM's first desktop entry(to my knowlege) into the PC market in the early 1980s. Note: This card's slot cover is black and is designed for the early IBM PC 5150. The red strip(or sometimes a blue strip) of the cable aligns with the 1st finger. Two of the fingers are separated from the other fingers by a small slit between the 2nd and 3rd fingers.
